We turned a contractor’s service list into a persistent model home that changes state—making EV charging, solar, circuits, grid power, climate, safety, and smart-home work visible.
Residential electrical work is interconnected. Conventional service cards make it feel fragmented.
The interface needed to explain a whole-home system without becoming a technical manual—or another scrolling contractor template.
Our answer was spatial rather than linear. One retained model home stays on screen while service states change around it. The camera, house, vehicle, roof, circuits, lighting, and supporting copy morph together instead of sending the visitor through disconnected pages.
The house is the navigation.

A living scene without the loading penalty.
Three.js is deferred until the interface paints. One canvas is retained while scene groups and the camera transform. Full DOM content remains available without WebGL, and ambient behavior pauses for reduced-motion users or hidden tabs.
The site reads the room.
Twenty-four hourly color profiles follow the browser’s local time. Day and night transition gradually; after dark, the model home’s interior lighting becomes part of the interface narrative.
A service website that demonstrates the same systems thinking the client brings into the home.
